3 People... 1 Purpose/Destiny fulfilled = YOU!!

So, as promised from my last entry, I will now explain what each member of the Trinity's job is.  Let's make some things clear, first.  The word "trinity" is not in the original text of the bible.  It is a word that some really smart folks came up with.  Like the word Christianity... not in the Word but we all know what that means (if you don't, hit me up and I will help you out).

Also the trinity or Godhead, though to me and others is very clearly described in the bible, it is a faith thang. Subsequently, this post is about increasing or stirring your faith. Similar to this... you go to a restaurant knowing that the cooks should not jack your food up but you are not absolutely sure if they do or not, you just trust or have faith that they do the right thing.  Hope that makes sense.

Now, the job or purpose of God the Father... my gosh, there are so many.

• He's a Father to the fatherless. (Psalm 68:5)
• those of you who had no father in the house, be comforted in knowing that God would absolutely love to be your father... to love you unconditionally
• If you had loving parents, think of what they did for you while you were growing up.  Now, multiply that love by infinity and beyond and know that is what God, the Father, wants to give to you... UNCONDITIONALLY.
• If you didn't have loving parents, think of what you so longed for from your parents... think of how you felt and remember the thoughts you had of how you would never do that to YOUR child.  Think of how hungry you were to be loved just for being you.  Remember that? Now I tell you that God can give you all of that and more
• He's takes care of His children (Matthew 6:26)
• To fully adopt you without condition, without precedent, and without anything owed.  I want you to imagine everything you have done, everything you have smoked, everything you have drank... all that makes you, YOU... and God wants it.  ALL OF IT.  Fully accepted, no matter what.

How about  God, the Son (Jesus)

• Main purpose was to be the ultimate sacrifice for our sins.  Put it like this... Imagine you are standing before a judge and you are straight guilty of the most heinous crime.  You deserve the death penalty but the judge says, "You are free to go... this guy over here has accepted your punishment."  That is what Jesus did.  Isaiah 53:1-10

Lastly, God, the Holy Spirit

• God loved you so much that He takes care of you as a loving Father to His child, then He allows Himself to be sacrificed for our crimes, and finally sends Himself to assist us to live this life and be successful in the person of the Holy Spirit.

Now, I am really not trying to sound "preachy" here but I want to bring this home with  a couple of questions...

Who do you know in the history of this world, galaxy, or universe could fulfill any of these 3 purposes?  Yeah, I cannot think of anybody either.  Who do you know that could do ALL 3 of these?  Yeah, I cannot think of anybody on that either.
